  • Saving image channels = Errors writing 1 of the images

When using RT as production renderer and trying to save all image channels (in VFB) I always get an error message: "There were errors writing 1 of the images"
But the images seem to be alright. Are my images really alright or somehow damaged? The message is a bit confusing.

Can you get us some way to reproduce this? Also, do you get the same error with 3.60.02? It was uploaded last week and includes a fix that may be related to your issue.

I just updated to 3.60.02 and get the same error. But I found the culprit, it's the MultiMatteElement. When deleting it from the render elements the error is gone. It's only RT related not Adv.

Would it be possible to attach the scene with just the render elements setup? If there is an issue, I'd like to fix it.

        Best regards,

Hey Vlado, I attached the scene. Additionally I found out that the error only occurs when isMATID is enabled.

            Hello,

Thanks for the scene - we reproduced the issue - indeed it is because of the isMATID option. You can safely ignore the error message in this case.
We've also added a fix for this for a future V-Ray version.
