Our in-house post pipeline is pretty much built around using V-Ray blend materials and material select render elements to store the blends sub-materials to be used in comp. The lack of this feature is one of the main reasons why its not currently viable for us to move to GPU unfortunately.
It would be great to know if this is planned and if so, when are we looking at having it implemented?
