Can we have it please? I am aware of the OSL implementation of the thin film shader, I just prefer a more "common" way of approaching this, using the comfortable plugin from SIGER.

That's interesting. Do you mean you contact plugin developers and try to make them implement GLSL/OSL versions of their texture plugins if I am understanding you correctly?
