Fabrics overly bright

I had different fabric materials tested out and these are not working and seem to be emitting light or are just overly bright. I made a video so you can see for yourself:

Working with 3ds max 2015, vray next nightly 28067 and GTX 1070, driver 390.77 (although with an older driver I had the same problem)

Am I doing something wrong here?

btw Next advance (is it still called like that, the CPU only variant?) also gives me stranges results, although not as overbright as GPU
same thing in material editor btw

can you give the name of the material?
it looks like bad data are involved, may be the material is broken,

thanks for the report, it was a compatibility issue introduced few weeks ago, affecting only certain materials, check the nightlies tomorrow or monday

in this case you should check all the latest fabrics maybe?
found that transparency doesnt work with fabric_0011.vrscan in GPU
