Its Crazy ! I have fresh install of 3ds max and it lags as hell ! Just hands down :- ( I’m getting new workstation in next few weeks if that system will have the lag as well I dont know what I will do. Move back to max 9 ! :smile:

Humh I’ll try that. Restart pc and start just max. See if there is some software that cause the issue.

Try msconfig and uncheck everything that launches at startup.

Any mapped network drives? I know max really hates when you have ones that are not connecting.

I have moved to one computer and everything local, which solved a ton of my MAX issues. I purchased a machine with as many cores and ram as I could afford and I am loving it. Obviously, not as fast as 5 i7’s, but easier.
