Anyone know of issues with running a 3DS Max and AutoDesk Viz hybrid network environment? This is for an architectural office, so we do not need Character Animation, gaming tools, or the like.
Basically, we would like to not spend as much money on our total number of licenses. We have 3 of max now, and really need 2-3 more. Is Viz a real option?

You can’t open a Viz model in Max (or a Max model that is saved in Viz)… unless they have changed this in recent versions.
If you are just looking for a cheaper modeling software - get Modo.
