3ds max - VRayVolumeGrid - Cutter Geom: not working.

Indeed, this still has not been impelmented yet. Adding one more vote for it.
Meanwhile as a workaround you could possibly use the V-Ray Distance texture in the Smoke opacity settings. It will be a bit slower to render, but should do the job.
You can pick the object you wish to use as a cutter in the Distance texture and make the near and inside colors white, while the far is set to black.

just please update the docs asap.
I don’t mind features not being supported but at the moment with spotty GPU documentation and some of the unsupported options being greyed out in GPU UI and some not - it is simply quite a mess that seriously affects usability.
Indeed you’re right. Will make a note to fix the docs as soon as we can so that it can reflect what is supported and what not.
