maybe a bug

I use one of the latest nightly build and with “Geometry Mode (only Vray)” checked in the PHX foam the cutter object doesn’t work, only with the option unchecked.
maybe this helps to debug things.

thanks for the report, actually it’s not implemented, the cutter was introduced to resolve the grid artifacts of the liquids, later we decided that it may be useful for atmospheres too, of course will be implemented for geometry mode, but can’t promise when

ok… I think it’s the only way to implement it in the foam too… because it’s very usful to simulate big grids,and then cut the not needed parts off. :slight_smile:

i think vray has general cutter, not sure what is the name, but you can disable the rendering in certain areas with geometry

Just using VrayClipper for the first time now.. works well :slight_smile:
