Thank you for the report.

Upon testing, I also managed to reproduce this issue and I have reported it to our developers for further investigation (bug ID: VC4D-1649). I will let you know once we have any updates. Thanks.

Please be informed that this bug has been fixed and the error message no longer occurs when creating a Node Blend material. The fix is available in our latest stable build which can be downloaded from here. I hope this is of help.
