Here is a small test, it tooked 15 minuts with photon mapping + 6 minuts irradiance map + animation irradiance map with incremental 30 s, and AA for each frame 26 seconds, I will post as soon as it finish.

Pengo and Dynedain: I didnt use any trick, I ve only use photon map with a lot of photons…
The lighting is a solid color as background with Vraylights as skylight portals stored with irradiance map, and a Standart direct light with white color and multiplier 1.
And I will post the settings tomorrow

Goncalo, the animation is showing up as blank black sreen. I’m using latest Windows Media Player with divx, 3vix, quicktime, xvid codecs all installed. Did I miss a codec?
Wow, so much depth and a rock solid solution. Very nice 
there are some errors in the avi data stream. that’s why our players are having problems viewing them Brim, not a codec problem on our end, but on the encoding end.
take it into virtualdub if u really wanna see it.

Dunno why you guys had problems seeing it.. i downloaded fast and played ok even in full screen mode (WMP8+Divx)
yeah, plays fine for me too.
Brim try to upload the animation with max, in the computer I ve done the animation I cant see it either…

i’m running divx 5.1 pro. no can do for viewing here. if i open it up with a video editing prog (virtualdub, for instance) tells me that the stream has errors.
