Who rewrote the aces v1.3 base? Have the updated staff actually tested it?
In cg-config-v1.0.0_aces-v1.3_ocio-v2.0.ocio, “sRGB” cannot be selected for Display Device. Also, “ACES 1.0 - SDR Video” cannot be selected for ViewTransform.
The Maya ACES tutorial has been modified based on v1.2, see the thread below.

I don’t think there is a need for a “Docs & Help Center” category on the Chaos forums.
It seems that it is better to point out in each application forum.
The documentation is written by the person in charge of each application, and it seems that the person in charge doesn’t read this forum.
Works fine for me. Following the exact same environment variables and ocio config.
Handling of the documentation is done by a separate team, which works tightly with other teams. This forum category is meant to discuss the docs or report issues to them directly.

Certainly, aces-v1.3 ocio-v2.0 can be used if specified via environment variables.
However, why can’t it be set if the OCIO file of “cg-config-v1.0.0_aces-v1.3_ocio-v2.0.ocio” is specified in the GUI without using environment variables?

This is simply due to the old setup screen in Houdini’s ACES tutorial.
If use ACES v1.3, User won’t get the same selection as in this screenshot.
