After installing Vray Next: Phoenix gives error code 127: The specified procedure could not be found

Hi guys, reporting here under Vray instead of Phoenix, because it looks like Vray Next triggered the error.

I was running Vray 3.8 and Phoenix FD 31000 happily under 3ds Max 2018, no problems.

Immediately after upgrading to Vray Next, Phoenix FD fails to initialize with the following error message:
DLL <C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2018\plugins\vrayplugins\phoenixfd.dlr> failed to initialize.
Error code 127: The specified procedure could not be found

I’ve tried uninstalling Phoenix and reinstalling, but same error.

Any ideas?

Hello,

You will need to download a Phoenix nightly build that supports V-Ray Next (as V-Ray Next is still in beta and there are no official release builds yet).
