Hello everyone,
Is there an explanation why all my benchmark runs score cca 250 on diferent computers with different RTX cards?
System i7 8700K (not used) + RTX 2070 - 253 mpaths
System Ryzen 5 3600 (not used) + RTX 2070 Super - 263 mpaths
System first Threadripper 3960X (not used) + RTX 2080 Super - 252 mpaths
System second Threadripper 3960X (not used) + RTX 2080 Super - 264 mpaths
Any ideas what could be causing these scores? : D
Cheers
Jonas

Hi there, these scores seem completely normal to me. You can check other submissions with similar configurations on https://benchmark.chaosgroup.com , and see, that most of them achieve similar scores.
Hi Daniel, that doesn’t make any sense. RTX 2080 Super cannot have the same score as a regular RTX 2070. There must be something fishy going on.
I will try to run some other GPU benchmark on those computers and re-run V-Ray benchmark once again to be sure.

Now that I think of it, the reason might be, that the V-Ray Next inside V-Ray Next Benchmark isn’t optimised for RTX rendering. We’ll soon release a new benchmark with the latest V-Ray which has support for RTX rendering, and then the scores might make more sense.

Any idea when the RTX version will be released?
