AMD HIP engine support for V-Ray for SketchUp (RDNA 4 / RX 9070)

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded to the new AMD Radeon RX 9070 (16GB) which is based on the RDNA 4 architecture. I know that the AMD HIP engine backend was recently introduced for 3ds Max in V-Ray 7 Update 3, and I am very excited to test it. Since I primarily work with V-Ray for SketchUp, I noticed that the HIP engine is not available for SketchUp users yet, and there are no public nightly builds for it. Is there any private beta build or an upcoming pre-release available that I could test on my RX 9070? I would be more than happy to provide feedback, crash logs, and benchmarks to help the development team with the RDNA 4 implementation. Thank you!

As far as I can see this is planned for Update 5. I don’t know about nightlies, you may have better luck on the Sketchup section of the forum.

I can only repeat what I already wrote above.

I’m not in the V-Ray for Sketchup team, I work on Vantage. Your request is not really for the V-Ray GPU team either, because it’s just integration work for Sketchup.
