try the natural shaders, too…

how well do they work with vray - i’ve never tried them…
DZL
i played with the demo a while back…they basically work fine but they tend to be a bit bitchy to tweak for low rendertimes due to their displacement. It´s needed to look good, but it uses max displacement (so in vray it uses the “default displacement” override). Tends to get a bit slow…but looks nice in a lot of cases…some controls seem a tad confusing at times.

I would also recommend you try the DarkTree shaders.
I have done some snow tests with it and the result was really great.

Thanks all for help… i’ve solved a problem …maybe it’s not so perfect solution but just accurrate for the time/quality purposes /// I’ve used standard vray material and played with transluency, reflection and fog color , basing on dirty white color as a base wit some help from Neil’s site with procedural noise as a bump. As soon as I’ll finish this staff I’ll put here a small samples what I’ve achieved with this technique. THX
