Hello !

Here are some pictures of a my second project with Enscape which is about 50% in progress.

I’m using an HDRI skybox along with Enscape’s Sunlight. I think I get a pretty descent result.

Feel free to add your knowlege so I can make improvements.

Cheers !

note : Images straight from Enscape, no post processing

I like the evening mood. For improvements - the floor texture scale looks to big.

Micha,

True, thanks for the input.

Got the floor texture resized and added some furniture.

Also changed the hdr Skybox.

The things that jump out to my eyes are the internal window frames, the hovering work stool, the sharp edge to the carpet and it’s lack of texture. (And the ingoe at the back window, and the missing window frame)… but I’m picky

Haha, actually the desk was hovering as well ! Yes you are picky but that’s what I need, new sharp eyes to point out the weird stuff

Thanks

in V-ray i used fur material to do my carpets. Basically It was grass that I would resize and make more dense and it worked great.

Do you guys know something similar in Enscape ?

You can call the texture “grass carpet” and it would pick up the keyword, but you would need to scale up everything by a factor of about 8 to 10 (I’m guessing). If you need to keep the scale I would just apply a noise texture as a bump-map.

Nice! I’d suggest to change the metalness of the chair. The reflection looks fake to me, I think usually these kind of chairs are made of plastic or wood (metal = 0).

Just realized your were probably talking about the “metalness” of the big gray chair… I only adjusted the stool… I 'll get another shot later with the proper look on the chair.

Last pictures, different HDR skyboxes :

White mode is soo usefull when working on lighting !

Just realized the handle of the desk is a little too high - sticking to the edge, right?

Well, you’re making a point but I modeled it from the real one and it’s the right position. Can change it though

If you’re looking at the desk, I would put a 3-5mm gap between the drawers (offset the division line, push in by 5-10mm) to give a little definition.
