I think: the first one is the (very impressive!!!) render. The second one is a photo of the final apartment as it is in real world. Right?

If that second picture is really a rendering, you should totally make a ‘making-of’ dvd and sell it. I don’t think there’s anyone in here that wouldn’t want to dissect that scene, shader by shader and light by light.

amazing image, but why is the table in the foreground on the left not casting a shadow?

wow, thats real nice, great textures on the exterior of the apt.
The only flaw with the second image is the view isnt as nice as the one in the first pic

Very, very nice. Great contrasting tones (warm/cool) and good feeling of indoor vs. outdoor lighting. I still don’t get the table at the lower left though.
