My Asset Editor went blank just like that, without any apparent reason, in the middle of a work session. I was applying materials to a model when it stopped working. It shows all the icons when it opens but as I click on any of them everything disappears.
All the other features are working: I am able to export and import proxies, start a render, etc. The “only” problem is the AE’s blankness. I have not installed anything new in my machine that could cause a conflict with Vray.
I am running Sketchup 2019 (19.1.173) in an iMac with the following specs: 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5 (processor), 16 GB 2400 MHz DDR4 (memory) and Radeon Pro 560 4096 MB (graphics card). Mac OS is High Sierra (10.13.6). And I am using Vray Next.
I do hope anyone can help me with this vexing problem.
download.chaosgroup.com - same place you got the initial install using your license credentials. It fixes some bugs, but usually best to run latest software
Delineator is right here.
The cause for the blank asset editor was one legacy texture that didn’t know what preview it should use for the swatch - NoiseASGVIS.
This got resolved in the latest version. Keep in mind that the NoiseASGVIS map will still appear as it was originally created.
With the next release we intend to automatically migrate/convert this legacy texture which is the better solution.
If after installing the latest version the issue still persists, please share the scene so we can investigate.
Thank you in advance and excuse us for the inconvenience.

Hello, I am having again the problem mentioned above, namely, a blank Asset Editor. I am sure it is related to a specific file because it does not occur with other files. Could you have a look at it to find out what is causing the problem?
