Bloom effect is not rendering as shown in viewport.

Hello, I’m experiencing a weird difference between what the viewport shows and what the final rendered still looks like.

I have Bloom set to 25% and it looks great in the viewport (right side).
However the rendered still is noticeably much less radiant, less poppy and most importantly the glow effect is just wrong.
I tried increasting 25 to 50% but it doesn’t produce what I need.

Is this a known issue?
I’ve tried rendering as JPG and PNG (both transparent and flat), with no avail.
I have the latest version of Enscape and SketchUp. Rendering on RTX3090, 64 GB RAM. DLSS is turned off, Raytracing is on.

The drastic difference is especially noticeable in Photoshop:

Would appreciate a help. Thank you.

It looks to me like the bloom post processing doesn’t scale with resolution - the higher the resolution the smaller the distance.

Try exporting a very low res image to see big old booom

Hello and thank you for your report! Indeed bloom doesn’t seem to have the same effect on different resolutions; we have confirmed the issue internally and will get to it in due time. Unfortunately I can’t offer a workaround for it in order to get similar results.

Appreciate again taking the time to reach out to us.

Hi,

I can’t do on my projects (exhibition design) the glow effect on led lines or 3D logos with led. I have a dome to create the indoor scenario.

Can you give me some help on this?

The bloom glow is mostly defined by how bright the light source is (and the resolution)
It may be that your exposure is too low - so you’ll need to drop your dome lighting to compensate.
