Here, is a cabin that I am working on. I am trying to use all the post goodies V-Ray has to offer. The bloom/glow is too much and I burnt it into the image, so next time I’ll just do an element. [bedroom.jpg] [kitchen.jpg]

Just a note. The first two were using settings Vlado talked about in his latest video and they took 4hrs. The third, I used Solidrocks and it took around 30 minutes.

New renders looking gorgeous - the lens effects are a tiny bit heavy handed in one or two of them, like it looks like the space is filled with dust or smoke. That aside the renders are seriously good.

Might be worth halving your bump mapping on the wood and the couch, and trying a render with camera dof just so it’s slightly softened. Seriously good work and again congrats on the progression down through the years.

so you switched from brute force to irradiance? as you mentioned valdo’s tutorial I thought the difference was in the sampling settings.
