Can Enscape Material and SketchUp Material not Sync?

I would like to have my SketchUp materials settings such as color and opacity vary from what the Enscape settings for that material are. Is this possible?

+1

Yeah, I miss this from V-Ray, especially the opacity.

It makes the most sense with glass. Enscape wants it black with low opacity but in SU, it is nice to see it bluish and like 50% so that you know where you glass material is painted. But there are other instances as well. Especially with metals. Enscape always wants a lighter color than I would like to see in the SU model.

Thanks for your feedback @ValeroStudio and @andybot , I’ll forward it accordingly. Would you like to have this always on, so that the adjustments made in SketchUp are not being synced with the Material Editor anymore, or maybe just as an option you can turn off/on?

I think it would be nice to have a toggle that’s default synced, and only switched when a material needs to be changed separately in SU. That way it’s unobtrusive to the current workflow, which works for the majority of materials.

Thanks for the feedback! I’ll forward it.
