would it be possible to change the color of the clothes for Anima 4D Animated people, especially the Construction worker. We would need to have a full orange working suit instead of different colors on helmets / trousers.
I believe, the only way right now would be to modify the baked textures (.jpg’s) inside the ANIMA folder for the project. But these are ~ 700 frames for each person in my scene and they also sometimes change the UV layout, which would limit me to basic Hue/Saturation changes batched over all the images and that doesn’t work. Individual file handling is - because of the huge amount of images - not an option.
Is there some hidden option before exporting it from Anima into the 3D software or is it simply not possible right now?
Modifying the textures on the 4D models is not possible because this type of model uses animated textures and has a geometry that changes its topology quite often along the animation. That means that the texture coordinates are also changing, so it is impossible to keep coherent changes across all frames.
That said, the textures from both Posed and Rigged models can indeed be modified using the tools available in Anima Designer. Those types of models use static textures and topology, so we can apply color corrections based on masks and keep them stable.
To better understand how the 4D models work internally, please check the following article:

Exporting subscription content from Anima to 3rd party software has never been possible:
