Hi again, I’m used to working in centimeters in Maya, but just tried changing to meters because I’ve read that V-Ray and Phoenix FD work better when real-world scales are used, and meters makes more sense for most of what I’m creating. However, after changing to meters, when I apply a Phoenix FD preset to an object, no bounding box appears around the simulator, and nothing is cached or rendered. But if I go back to centimeters in the same scene, create a new object, and apply a Phoenix FD preset to that, it works without issue. Any ideas on what could be causing this? Is it good to be switching to meters?
Ouch! It’s a bug, will try to fix this ASAP and will update you.
Thanks for reporting this!
Okay thanks, Svetlin!
Hey - it will be fixed in tomorrow’s Phoenix nightly
Thanks again!
Ah, wait, I need to change one more thing in order for the scale of quick setups to work correctly when not in cm - please check tomorrow’s nightly instead.
Cheers!
