this is my last job and i have used phoenix FD to apply very naturals and beautifull move on my particles flow .
It’s rendered with Krakatoa. This is my first attempt with Krakatoa.

i haven’t take a look at how many particles are computed with Krakatoa.
In particles flow i begin with 2x 2 000 000 particles wich spawns themself 200x times per frames and a long life time.
Then i use krakatoa 10x partitionning .
So …
a lot too many so much particles or something like that
The thing that i really love with phoenix FD in this job is that we can compute a very basic low precision grid with only thousands particles generated to apply a fine detailled force to the PF particles system .
What i dislike is that the PhoenixFD forces PF system is so slow that it’s make the work hard .
it’s seems to be a Particles flow issue, but can you do something to make your particles flow PhoenixFD operator faster in particlesflow?
And i need your advice. is it better and faster to go to thinking particles or keeping Particles Flow and adding Box 2 and 3 is enough ?

phoenix has its own particles that run much faster compared to the PF setup, but they still can’t be directly transferred into a PF event. they can be used if you need just particles moved along the fluid, but as i see in your case this is not satisfied.
perhaps we will add a pf birth operator, that converts the particles in a phoenix simulator into a pf particles
it’s could be great this PF birth operator.
I have other jobs where i need to drive particles with Key frames and/or Path Spline and having fluid forces on them to make secondary motions.
I have try to make a drived particles flow as emitter for phoenixFD, but it’s not so much interesting if you just want to make a water flow dancing around something or following a path .
