Color correction node

It would be nice to have a color correction integrated inside bitmaps. Since it’s a pretty used feature, maybe it’s better to have it integrated instead of creating a separate node ervy time you need to adjust colors of a texture.

I cannot think of any strong argument why color correction node(s) shall be moved inside CoronaBitmap. Remember that CoronaColorCorrect can have multiple outputs, how is it going to be handled inside Bitmap? There is Output rollout in Bitmaps which is quite enough for simple tweaks.

Hi Aram. Thanks for your reply.

I was thinking of it the same way as you guys built a triplanar checkbox on corona bitmap in the last release. That feature handles all maps independently which doesn’t make much sense if you have multiple maps to build a material. If we need all of them to share the same parameters, we would certainly use the node itself.

But on the other hand, a corona color correction is often used to adjust just a diffuse map, so you don’t really need all maps/outputs in the material to share the same adjustments. I’m talking for example about tweaking hue, saturation, temperature, etc. That’s useful for a diffuse map and even roughness depending on the case. Hope it makes sense. Thanks.
