Cores limit

Hi all

Is there a limit on the number of cores V-Ray can use?

i.e would V-Ray use all 88 threads of the 44 core dual Intel Xeon E5-2699v4 set up?

We do have an 88 core machine in the office and it works fine. You might need a more recent build of V-Ray though.

Cool, great.

I’m working on 3.40.06 at the mo.

We’re pricing up some 2699, so wanted to check all cores would be used.

Can you please post the latest build address, or/and the nightly builds address?

I’d recommend sticking to 3.40.06. It should work fine with high core counts.
