Corona 7 for 3Ds Max 2021 Start up Issue

Hi folks,

I am currently facing a major issue with Corona 7 for 3DS max 2021. after the installation was completed I run 3Ds Max 2021 and the below message appears!!

" DLL <C:Program files\Autodisck\3ds Max 2021\plugIns\CoronaMaxUtils2021.dlt> failed to initialize properly - not loading.

i tried to understand the bug behavior but with no success :frowning:

please help!

This is most probably installation/windows/3ds max update thing.

Please take the time and try the following:

-Perform a full uninstall of Corona through your control panel add/remove programs, make sure Corona is completely uninstalled from your system and no Corona Renderer files are present in C:/Program Files, no Corona related files in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20**\Plugins and in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20**\scripts, also C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20**\scripts\Startup
-Remove anything from C:\Users_username_\AppData\Local\CoronaRenderer that is corona related. And make sure that Corona…dlr-dlt are not in C:\Program Files\Autodesk\3ds Max 20**\Plugins .
-Try and update your Windows to the latest version.
-Open your 3ds Max, navigate to the main toolbar Customize > Configure User and System Paths > 3rd Party Plugins, and please make sure that C:\Program files\Autodesk\3ds Max 2021\Plugins\ is set properly as your main path.
-Perform a new installation, you can also consider an offline installation if there are any errors. (https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/12000036778-how-to-install-the-material-library-in-offline-mode- )
-Please make sure that NET Framework 4.8 is installed - Download .NET Framework 4.8 | .NET as well as Visual C++ Redistributable 2015 - https://www.microsoft.com/pl-pl/download/details.aspx?id=48145
-If the above fails, try and rename the ENU folder to ENU_Old (C:\Users*Username*\AppData\Local\Autodesk\3dsMax\20** - 64bit\ENU).

Hello, I,m using and install Corona 8
As your mentioned/Solution 1: Failed again, and when i open 3dsMAx, the screen appear as below image include:

It looks like something is wrong with some of your Windows components. According to the first error message, it’s the NET Framework. You can download and install it here (please try installing the newest version): Download .NET Framework - free official downloads | .NET

The second message is about the missing Corona Material Library. You can install it manually by following these steps: https://support.chaos.com/hc/en-us/articles/4528215807761

I would also advise installing the newest version of Corona: Download | My Chaos
