Hello Corona Team,
I have a crash when I’m trying to denoise a CRX image, I tested the process with different denoise amount but it doesn’t work.
I tested to denoise a separate light Mix one by one and it also didn’t work.
STR>
1- I rendered a scene with Multipass and Denoise mode> gather data for later option.
2- I saved the image holding down on save button to CRX.
3- I open the CRX in Corona image editor.
4- Make the changes in Light Mix/Tone Mapping/Bloom.
5- Set the denoise amount to 0.6 then click on denoise button.
6- Program crash and I have to close it.

Yes, please, provide us a minidump (section 2 in the Marcin’s link but instead of 3dsmax.exe search for CoronaImage.exe). It would be great if you can also share the affected CXR image. Please use the private uploader for both: Renderer for architectural visualization - Corona | Chaos. Is the issue reproducible, or it has happened only once?
Hello Mike,
I will make the minidump today, I forgot to tell you that I work in C4D (Mac and PC).
It happened all time, I can´t denoise the image and I have to render again the image and make the denoise inside the C4D.
The OS X version is getting ready so I got confused.
CIE is standalone program and it has its own process in process explorer. See the section 2 in the Marcin’s link above. Instead of 3ds max process search for CIE process - CoronaImage.exe
Hello Mike,
I was looking for the file but I deleted it. I try to render the image again with the same parameters but image denoise worked fine.
I tried to look for historial with Process Explorer but the application works only in the moment of the bug.
I looked the bug in Event Viewer and I found it. I exported the file with all the crashes and now I’ll upload in the private uploader.
OK, I am sorry but there is nothing in that file from which I can find out what had happened. If the crash occurs again, please upload a minidump of the CoronaImage.exe process exported from the Process Explorer in time of the crash. If it would be possible, add also the affected CXR. Thank you.
I’ll close this, because it has been inactive for some time. Of course, if you have a crash, posting a minidump and writing a new bug report will still be helpful! Thanks
