Different mountains

where can I get

or… how to create a background of mountains without snow ??

Hey @revitpower , thanks a lot for your post.

You can always import your own skybox as background of course, but there is currently no way to edit our horizon presets. I’ll gladly forward your request to have this particular horizon preset without any snow on the mountains.

Also, you can, besides creating your own skybox, also have a look at this site here for high quality free content. Maybe you find something fitting!

Thanks @Demian_Gutberlet

I just tried to import some images as a background … but the quality is soooo bad

and the image gets too close…

… so NOT an option

also went to see the HDRI content in several sites

… but none with mountains

… just sky here, sky there

I will keep looking for mountains like from enscape but without snow

Hi All
@Demian Gutberlet could you please share any dummy example file of these “horizontal and vertical cross Skyboxes” (I have zero experience with these “boxed” things as I only used HDRIs so far) or guide me to exactly such a particular source please? :?:

Hey @EGIESTO , I have not found any particular websites worth noting when it comes to Cross Format Skyboxes. Simply make use of the Longitude / Latitude (Panoramic) skyboxes available instead I’d say. Or, of course, check out sites like HDRI haven for high quality .hdr files which can be used as sky.

… well.. nope

no mountains without snow

searching 1’000.000 sites over the entire internet

no hdri for mountains… just sky and sky and sky

… or mountains with all kinds of snow

and sometimes flat “everything”

? ?

Shotokan, I often shoot 360 panoramas up in the norwegian mountains for different projects. Not hdri, but regular 360 panos. Would some of theese do?

thanks 3dmake

that is amazing !!

are you using a drone?

cool

Unfortunately this does not work for what I am looking for

I need landscapes of the equatorial zone

another kind of trees and many more mountains

Yea, the high altitude pictures are from a Phantom 4 Pro drone, the ground pictures are from a DJI Osmo Pro (Gimbaled camera on a tripod)
Each panorama is ±280megapixels

Pardon, what are you referring to? A 360 degree image is basically a panorama, they are synonymous. If you want to know how to import your own 360 degree image as skybox, check out this knowledgebase article here. If you want to create a 360 degree image from a real life location, you may wanna check out street-view for your smartphone, which allows you to do exactly that. After capturing a real-life 360 degree image, you can also use this as a skybox in Enscape.
