Don't render final image doesn't save the vrmap when using command line

Hi,

I have an issue that if I send a batch render without UI (from command line) with the “don’t render final image” setting on, this to save the irradiance map, is not saving the map, I have to actually render the frame for the vrmap to be saved.
This works fine if I use maya with the UI.

is there any reason this might happen? Any command line options?

What V-Ray and Maya versions are you trying this with? It seems to work just fine here in a simple test. This is from maya batch, right (i.e. Render.exe -r vray <scene>) ?
