We have 1 licence, DR limits itself at 5 nodes. I can not use 10 node in once. And eachtime it gets different nodes up to 5 node. What it could be the problem.
all computer IPs are listed in DR server.
Max 2008 x64 and 1.50 SP3 is installed.

Have they worked in the past or is this a new setup?
first time setup.. I want to try it today. I sent another render today after this post.. it took only 3 computers. Even tough half an hour ago same setup rendered it with 5 nodes.
Does DR have a logic like… Vray can finish it fast, no need more than 3 comps or 5 comps…![]()
Not in my experience, sometime it can be quite the opposite.
What sort have network have you got?
Might be a network / computer issue, I have one of my slaves that likes to not participate for no particular reason sometimes. Killing the 3dsmax.exe fixes it usually and it will be magically back and rendering. This only seems to occur after a render has been cancelled, if i cancel a render and send another one too quickly its more likely to happen.
I got it. Apparently Windows Firewall is turned on some computers. It works like a charm right now.
Thank you all.
Glad that it’s sorted out now. V-Ray should print a warning in the V-Ray messages window when it cannot connect to some of the hosts.
Best regards,
Vlado
Thanks Vlado. I will check that also, if there are any more problems. Now all nodes picking it.
