I can’t seem to get DR to work with Max 2008. The machines are kicking in but they just render black. And I’ve checked and double checked that all my network paths are accurate for my materials and VRay maps. And I do have the latest version of VRay on all machines.
It still works just fine with Max 9.
Any ideas?
A little extra info:
The machine I’m submitting the render from is a 32 bit. The render nodes are 64-bit machines but they have both 32 and 64-bit Max and VRay on them.

Do you have the correct version of the spawner running? Also check to make sure the license server is updated to the version you are using.
Well it’s all the same version of VRay. Is it possible to upgrade VRay without upgrading the spawner?
You said you still have max 9 installed. Make sure you’re running the spawner for max 2008 32 bit.
So you’re thinking that maybe the Max 9 version was installed second?
I just tried to reinstall VRay 2008 x86 and aparently there was a problem uninstalling the old version. And at the end of the process I got the message “Could not save settings.” 
You can have vray installed for both versions simultaneously. You’ll have a “Launch V-ray DR Spawner” for each. I was just suggesting you check to make sure you’re running the right one. I create shortcuts to them and rename each to correspond with the correct version of max.
