You are more than welcome to do so!

I’m sure you’re aware already but, just know that 2.7 requires OpenGL 4.4 which is not supported by your GPU, which will mean that any further updates (or releases of course) from this point on will also require at least OpenGL 4.4, so maybe you have the chance to upgrade your machine in the future to make use of all new functions.
