Hi,
Let’s say I have 2 users, one is on Revit 2024 with Enscape 4.0 and the other is on Revit 2024 with Enscape 3.5. What would happen if the person in 4.0 made edits to a project, and then the person in 3.5 tried to open the view or vice versa? Would things be missing?
Thanks
At a minimum, any new 4.0 assets and materials used in Revit w Enscape 4.0 wouldn’t display in 3.X.
Got it, and what if someone edits a project in 4.0, and for some reason needs to go back to 3.5? Is the project corrupted then?
Enscape is simply rendering what Revit sees. You’ll not have features in the later version (assets and materials). If you go to the downloads page Enscape - Real-Time Rendering and Virtual Reality | Chaos there’s a link (scroll down) for downloading previous versions.
