Installed Enscape 4.0 and the tab does not appear in Revit 2024. Tried all the suggestions from Enscape but didn’t work. I had to install the 3.5.6 version again. Please resolve this issue. Thank you
I just came to report the same. I thought maybe it was moved to another tab like “Add-Ins” but no such luck. I’ve restarted, updated .net framework for the asset editor and everything else I can think of but Enscape is nowhere to be found.
An interesting side effect btw, my wallpaper went away on my desktop when I installed 4.0, like maybe there is a graphics card driver issue.
Very odd. I updated Revit to 2024.2 as well as Autodesk identity manager and the Autodesk License Installer. Still no Enscape so I uninstalled Enscape 4.0, restarted, reinstalled, then I had the Enscape Tab in Revit. BUT, now a bunch of the utilities that I had in the system tray such as Google Drive for Desktop, My audio controller, etc. are all gone.
same issue here - have just reinstalled 3.5.6 and the tab is there no issues

I believe the latest update has resolved the issue. If you check the version history, you’ll notice that two versions of 4.0 were released within a day of each other. I had the same issue with the 4.0.0.577 version, but not with the 4.0.0.579. Cheers!
thanks i just tried v 579 - downloaded, restarted and still no enscape tab in Revit! back to 3.5.6 for now…
might be time to learn Twinmotion which is free with Revit

Yeah, I can’t wait to start using Twinmotion too. I have to admit that Enscape is more user-friendly, but everything becomes a habit with more usage.

TBH I really like Enscape and am reluctant to learn something new.
I’ve played around with TM and really don’t like the UI and workflow with Revit. It seems to have a few more enhanced features (weather / atmosphere / puddles / leaves / vegetation / material replacement generally) but maybe not enough to make the jump just yet…
Run the installer again and uninstall.
After uninstall, right-click on the installer and select Install as Admin.

It shouldn’t be that hard - previous versions worked just running the installer.
(under advanced options it had all platforms selected by default - I deselected all except Revit - not sure if that had anything to do with it?)
I don’t think the uninstall / reinstall as admin is intended workflow. Perhaps something slipped through QA and will get fixed in future installer.
