Hi, I have been trying to look up for the solution but my enscape doesn’t start.
After opening any file on sketchup, whenever i start enscape .. a window open as usal in begining of enscape that shows exporiting materials and geometries below ..
30 seconds into loading the enscape window crashes and i am back on sketchup window
a notifacation pops up saying “Enscape is waiting for sketchup api to respond. an open sketchup dialog may be blocking progress”
I have tried opening a blank file of sketchup .. still enscape wont start
i have tried reinstalling it several times.. both sketchups and enscape .. same issue keep happening
My drivers are upto date.. my software is upto date, i have 16GB ram, 4GB AMD Graphic card, And 1TB SSD
I am using sketchup 2023 and my enscape is 4.2.1,
Please help me fix this error, alot of my work has been held up because of this.
You might’ve already seen the response from our support team from today, but I’ll copy-paste the whole reply below just to make sure you’ll see what we’ve shared with you so far:
"Although the AMD Radeon R7 M440 has 4GB and supports Vulkan 1.1, it is far less powerful than our minimum recommended RX 470 as seen in this comparison here, so we may not be able to provide official support.
Additionally, from the log files, I see the driver for your AMD Radeon R7 M440 is fairly outdated (08/2022), which is likely the cause of this issue.
I recommend performing a clean installation of the latest AMD driver.
Be aware that Windows sometimes displays graphics card drivers as being up to date, even when this is not the case. Therefore, we advise you not to upgrade your drivers via the Windows Device Manager.
Should the issue persist after this, please send us a new feedback report, including the log files, via the Enscape Support button."
