Enscape on Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) Revit Workshared Cloud Models

Is there a way for consultants and general contractors with their own Enscape licenses to open Revit models on ACC and run Enscape?

When we tried in the past the Enscape assets and materials were not available to the people outside our organization.

Hi @scottdurkee_sa ,

I previously replied to your support ticket with this question, but I figured I should go ahead and address it publicly in case anyone else has similar questions:

Yes, you can use Enscape on ACC/Forma (expect minor lag during Revit cloud syncs).

If you are experiencing missing materials, this is actually a common Revit configuration issue, not an Enscape bug. Revit relies on exact local file paths, so if textures are saved in user-specific folders, others won’t see them. You should move your material files to an identical, standardized folder path for everyone (e.g., C:\ACC_Materials) and link it using Revit’s Additional Render Appearance Paths.

For assets, it depends on what type of assets these are:

  • Custom Assets: Point everyone’s Enscape Custom Asset Library to the same standardized shared folder.

  • Cosmos Assets: Make sure users are on Enscape 4.15+ and the Chaos Cosmos service is running locally (restart the “Chaos Cosmos Browser” via the Windows Start menu if stuck).

Hope this helps!
