The GTX 1650 is supported by Enscape, but if budget allows I’d recommend going with something like a 1660 Ti - May I ask what your budget allows, estimated?
In such a case, please kindly send us a Feedback report so that we can further identify the cause behind this specific problem. The RTX 2060 is supported by Enscape and is also a rather decent card to use with our plugin! So, thanks a lot in advance for submitting the said report, we can then troubleshoot the cause behind it as quickly as possible.
Thanks for your reply, I did send the feedback report and got an answer, some OUT OF MEMORY issue that is caused by a bug that does not consider the amount of VRAM taken by the geometry in a project, the developers are working on this issue I believe.
As mentioned by Phil, ideally you want a machine with one of the more powerful GPU’s on the market (Especially for VR), but if your budget only allows for an RTX 3050, I’d say go with that!
Be aware that you may have to lower the rendering quality overall in Enscape if you experience any performance problems, and/or due to the card only having 4GB of VRAM, larger scenes may have to be reduced in scope.
Still, you will have a decent experience nonetheless with a 3050, although, again, if your budget would allow it, go with a 3060, 3070, or higher instead.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650, in this case, is basically the minimum we recommend, but since you say your projects are not that heavy/large, and budget does not allow for something more powerful, you can definitely use this laptop in combination with Enscape - Just make sure to dial down the Rendering Quality in the Visual Settings whenever you experience performance problems.
Hello, sorry my bad english.
this weekend i change my old GTX 1070ti, for a new RTX 3090, i dont change any more on my desktop pc.
Install RTX 3090, update Geforce Experience V.3.27.0.112, update drive v531.79
Use Revit + Enscape
And now i have this error. " Error compiling shader"
In this case I also would reccomend trying to use something like DDU (display driver uninstaller) to do a clean uninstall of any drivers currently on your machine, and then re-installing the latest drivers for your RTX 3090. Otherwise issues can occur if there are still leftover files/drivers from your 1070Ti.
You can acquire display driver uninstaller here for free:
If that doesn’t do the trick at all please also submit a feedback report with logs to our support team which should help with troubleshooting this further then:
