Error installing Enscape 2.7.1 on Windows 7

Hi I have a weird error. When we try to install the latest enscape on a Windows 7 system it reverts while installing. No error from the enscape installer.

In the Windows eventlog it gives a error on the .net runtime (id: 1026), but version 4.5.2 is installed on the system. All other requirements are normally installed.

have you guys have any idea what this can cause?

Welcome to our forum - in the first instance, please uninstall Enscape (if you can find it in your programs list), then reboot the machine, run the Enscape installer again and in the first window of the installation process, where you will see the checkbox named ‘I accept the terms in the License Agreement’ make sure that is checked. This will enable the Advanced button which you should then click to proceed to the next window which will offer you the option to install for all users of the machine.

If that does not help, please kindly let me know.

hi, i have problems installing the trial version. i receive the following message-

can you please help me?

Hi @giladnardi

Welcome to our forum.

Could you make sure your Windows is up to date.

And, could you please be so kind as to install the latest Visual Studio 2015, 2017 and 2019 Redistributable?

Please be sure to install the x64 version, you can download this here.

If that doesn’t help, could you tell me if you are indeed running on Windows 7 and trying to install our 2.7 release?

Could you try if installing our latest release as found here helps in that regard?
