Export Error - Asset Render Data not downloaded

Hi,

I’ve recently, over the past 2 weeks, started to get this error message when I start up Enscape:

“Export Error: Render data for 21 asset(s) could not be downloaded during the export. The afflicted assets may not be displayed in the rendered model.”

I takes Revit/ Enscape anywhere from 10-40 min (sometimes crashing entirely…I’ve never waited more than 40 min) to start up, then I will get the error message. All of my rendering assets are in the current Asset Library - image of the assets I’m using attached.

I’ve added a few “EnscapeAssetId” data parameters to (2) chair families, and am using the asset ID for the Kinnarps and Meda chairs. This is really the only unusual thing I am doing, but the first few times I started Enscape after doing this, it started up fine.

I updated to the most recent version today, and it is still happening. Help please!

I’m very sorry to hear about this issue.

The error you’ve sent us could very well indicate that Enscape could not connect to our Asset Library server successfully.

Provided that you’ve had access to the internet at the time this issue occurred, I assume that you probably connect to the internet via a proxy server?

In that case, you’ll might need to configure your proxy settings. You can do that in Enscape by clicking the [About] button in the Enscape ribbon → [Configure Proxy].

Please kindly ask your administrator what to fill into these fields.

If, however, you’re not connected to a proxy server, another possibility is that your firewall is blocking Enscape from connecting to our Asset Library server. Please set the following URL exceptions, that are for connection to the Enscape Asset Library, Web Standalone, Panoramas, and Feedback services, to listen on port ‘443‘ with protocol set to TCP (http and https):

Please contact us if the issue continues to persist!

Hi

I’ve imported several custom objects from 3ds Max into my Enscape scene in Archicad, and they were working fine until yesterday. Suddenly, they no longer appear in the scene, and I’m now receiving an error message. Could you please assist me with this issue? I’m under a tight deadline and would really appreciate a quick solution.

HI @Farshad_Riyazipour , welcome to our Forum.

I’m afraid since this particular dialogue can be caused due to different reasons we can identify via a support report (Including log files) please also submit one right away so that our dedicated support team can identify the cause behind this as quickly as possible: https://learn.enscape3d.com/blog/knowledgebase/using-the-feedback-button-win-revit/

Feel free to also let me know once sent in and I’ll let check if we received everything we require to troubleshoot this accordingly. In the meantime you can at least also make sure that the folder mapping to your custom assets is still persisting properly especially in case these Assets might be located on a shared network drive or similar.

In any case we will reach back out to you after said report has been sent in and kindly keep in mind that reaching out to us this way is always recommended and advised whenever you experience any problems with Enscape what so ever. Thank you in advance for you cooperation!

I start to get this error quite often. Some assets download and some others don’t ?
“Render data for 13 assets could not be downloaded” - I wander which asstes, because I have hundreds of them…
Why is this happening? What’s the fix?
Thank you!

Same issue in our organization in both Sketchup, Rhino and Revit, since updating Enscape to 4.13.
There are also issues with loading the Enscape Asset Library. No changes in network traffic have been made. Just the update of Enscape.
@Demian_Gutberlet logs have been sent from an affected device.
