As the title suggests, I’m looking into a GPU upgrade on my workstation. Should I go for the 680 phantom with 4GB or wait for the 690 card? I’m really not sure about the 690 behavior in viewports and RT computing since this is a dual chip card with a total of 4GB divided by the 2 processors which equals 2GB per chip. Any suggestions?
690 8 gb version or i u cant wait 680 4gb one.
I didn’t see any mention of a 690 card with 8 GB. I suppose I would have to wait for it for at least 3-4 months.
I think the 8GB card is going to be dual GPU, so only 4GB VRAM will be “seen” by VRayRT. Unless I’m mistaken?
