my tests showed that quadro 4000 is x2 slower then gtx 480. Unfortunately I didn’t test in the same exact conditions, so more tests needed, but over all quadro did not impress me, at one point my computer rebooted during gpu render.
Move over GTX 690, a 3gb GTX 580 still kicks your ass at CUDA!
yeh I’m still hoping for some feedback from somebody that tested the ATI 7970 with viewport and also with RT
i think its been said by vlado several times in diff. threads that the 7970 currently crashes with RT
Well it’s the driver that crashes when compiling the OpenCL code before it even manages to run anything on the GPU.
