Hair and fur problem

Hi,

I merged one object to my scene that had hair and fur modifier on it. Vray never finished the scene cause it hangs at the end in hair and fur stage. Even if I delete the objects vray still hangs at the end and never finish the render. How can I get rid of the hair and fur modifier for good? It feels odd that even if I delete the objects hair and fur is still haunting somehow.

It hangs in the Environment & Effects panel.
Just delete it or make sure “Hairs” parameter is set to “mr prim” instead of “buffer”.
