Help needed - updated

Hello everyone,

This is my first post, I am working on a project of a simple beakout area. But I’m getting a lot of colour bleed from the floor. Is there anything I can do different?
I using vraysun/sky/camera with reinhard color mapping with a burn value of 0.3. I’m also working in gamma 2.2.
Thank you in advance.

yes, lower the saturation spinner in your irradiance map controls.

you could use Vray override material

percy & flino: Thank you very much for your advice.

Both options work really well, I will play around with both settings.

Thanks again for quick response

Ash

the vray override is the bst bet if you have read my tutorial on dark or overly saturated scenes

Hi guys,

Here’s an updated to my scene. I big thanks to tONy31 for his help with the lighting.

Please feel free to C&C.

Your ceilings and lights look amazing… Could you please share how they were down…

Beautiful work

Arkitec

Well done Ash…good work. Are you pleased ???

Dude you could try and change your window glass mat… i had to do that on your test scene to get the direct sun light in… try and add a background image as well matey..

bring on the next project hey matey !!!

Arkitec - Ceiling is simple boxes with two ceiling grid maps applied. There is a vraylight on top of the drop ceiling pointing up onto main one. Lights were downloaded from ERCO site, with IES files.

tONy31 - I will look at glass material. I am very please with result, but I have a way to go to get to your level. I hope to post some new images soon. Thanks again for your help.

Nice work. It may be the color scheme but it appears to be a little it too evenly lit in that some surfaces you may expect to be a touch darker since they are in shadowed areas. Very minor thing though imho..

A background would help finish it off as mentioned but otherwise looks great

Great improvement!

amazing progression from the first image to the final.
looks great! nice wall graphic.

very good looking rpc’s…

Hey ..

i think the image looks great, just lacking some shine.. i would put some glossy reflections on the woods, just a little.. good job.

are they rpc’s ? i was assuming they’re photoshop. nice indeed

natty - thanks for comments, I was using fresnel reflections on the wood material, but I dont’t think i’ve got the correct setting

add101 - you are right they are PSed, they are from Dosch Design.

I hope to post more images soon.

thnx again
