Invalid ASGvis material file

I have tried to download a sand material for V-ray Sketchup. The material is called Sand-FJ; but when a try to open it in the V-ray material editor I get the following message: Invalid ASGvis material file. This has happened before with other vismat. files. Does anyone know what the problem is or what I might be doing wrong?

Check your vray version, it might be that. What version are you using? :slight_smile:

Also check the size of the material file. If is 0.0k maybe it is corrupt. Let me know to fix it.

I am currently using v. 01.50.30 and as far as I can see that’s not the latest version. I’ll try to upgrade; is v.01.48.66 the latest version?

The vismat. material in query has a file size of 4,01 kb.

Just wondering if they have changed alot since v.01.50.30; don’t have alot of time right now :wink:

1.48.83 is the latest version. Give it a shot, see if upgrading to the latest version helps.
