Thanks all

They are all covered pretty well in the manual.

you are so clever , aren’t you.. why didn’t think that so why tutorials are made for , tutorials are nothing for people who thinking like you

Uh, ok sorry :?: but you said you had the tutorials for specific explanations of what each of the settings does the manual is like one big tutorial…

Uh sotsun, I see you are a relatively new user to the forum and replying with sarcastic comments like that will get you little or NO responces in the future because no one will want to waste their valuable time in trying to help out someone that treats them as you did to RErender.

Just thought I’d tell you this to keep in mind for future posts.

thanks buddy, and sorry all for my previous comment

well said Syclone1

If you haven’t read the manual, you really should. Its pretty good as of now. I still look at it alot.

percy

i really need as a tutorial with examples i don’t understand what is the diffrence etc..

well i think the best way to learn is like everything else … sit there for hours on end with the manual and tutorials and simply play with the settings .. just see what does what by tweaking, i remember the days of early finalrender and boy was that confusing to learn, Vray is very easy when you get to grips with the nuts and bolts as it were..

i agree vray is easy to learn beside finalrender .
i tried hours and hours with vray irradience amp parameters , tried all options but i cannot solve the trembling problem :frowning:

can you post an example … you may have your AA setting wrong ?

you probably seen these
my iradian. map setting is default but i don’t calculate couse i dont know how to do?

Didnt you post the same problem before ?

if you have a moving camera you must save the irr map every 15th frame, you can find this in the Common Paramters of the render box (time output) you need to save the irr map as Incremental add to current map and what this is doing is every 15th frame it is filling in the parts it missed on the last 15th frame, this makes it very quick to make a complete irr map for your whole animaition. i probably havent explain it to well .. theres lots of info here.. http://www.vray.info/entry.asp?entryID=46

But my understanding of objects in your scene moving is a little Vague as i havent really explored it but i think you have to render each frame as new irr solution (in other words put it on single mode and hit render for the length of you animaition). but im not 100% sure this is the best way.
im sure others have some thoughts they could add.

Try using more passes and as in the quote that natty posted for moving objects your best bet is to render the IR map in single mode to avoid the flickering and artifacts.

I went through this delema with Valdo a couple of months ago and this was the best solution that we could come up with.
