Irradiance map sizes

i am about to render some high res stills of a large exterior development.
proberly a2 output.

can anyone offer any advice on the minimun sizes of irradiance maps for high res stills.

well i normally render the irr map out at half the size of the output save it and then render the full size version from the saved map.. just turn up the AA a little more.

dude, every time you double your output resolution you can effectively reduce your irradiance map min/max settings by 1.
