I am working on a render and noticed there is an issue with mirror reflections.
- The ceiling paint color is not correctly rendered (it’s off white)
- Same as above.
- The recessed light above the tub looks more dispersed in reflection than actual.
What could be the possible reasons? Is this something fixable?

shading in mirror reflections is more simplified (due to performance reasons), which means that only direct light (+ambient term) is considered and no indirect light. Since the ceiling is shaded with indirect lighting (global illumination) when viewed directly it happens that there’s a slight difference in color. So I’m afraid this is not unexpected behaviour and if it’s distracting for your screenshot I’d suggest to either post-process the area or select a view with less obvious differences in shading of the reflections.
