I’ve to make camera flying into this little town for 20-30 secondes…
the scene is pretty heavy. many polygons thanks to the trees (most xfrog) and I wonder how to decrease render time.
should i make a texture baking? make a multipass channel render and use combustion?
any advices and comments are apreciated. thanks
man, that looks pretty! How did you do the grass?
I use bionatics green stuff, but never was really satisfied with it, I think this xfrog looks much better.
For animation: what version of vray do you use?
If 1.45 you could consider the vraymesh option, for the heavy poly elements.
Then render every 10th frame or so, hide glass, check incremental on current map in de advandge imap par. And check the do not render final in global switches. then send this job to on pc and let that calculate the imap file.
When ready you can do the final rendering, every frame, and use the saved imap…
1st thing id suggest is to use editable mesh of your x-frog trees rather than the x-frog import plug. the plugin is reeeealy slow with vray when compiling geometry. next would be to convert the trees to vrmesh.
