Living Room Interior (My First Showcase Post)

Hi everyone. This is my very first post here in the Showcase thread. Just a simple living room I created in Sketchup and rendered of course using Enscape.

Open to hear your comments and suggestions.

By the way, I have a question that I have posted before but didn’t get any reply. I’m using Enscape 3.5.4 and it won’t run unless I turn off hardware-accelerated ray-tracing. Does this mean I won’t be able to achieve Color in Ray-Traced Sun Shadows?

Thanks.

@chrispph , thanks for your question! I’m afraid even though the GTX 1660 Super of yours may have the option to enable ray-tracing, it’s simply not really supported by that GPU, hence why you also cannot run Enscape while this setting is active.

Unfortunately that also means you won’t have access to ray-traced sun shadows, colored or non-colored. Of course we can only reccomend upgrading your graphics card if possible, to something like at least a RTX 2060 which should be the cheapest entry card for ray-tracing on NVIDIAs side.

Should you do have the budget though, you can go with an even better more capable card/system to ensure your machine is future proof as well, allowing for a fluent experience even in more complex scenes at Ultra Rendering Quality with ray-tracing enabled and so forth.

Let me know if any further questions come up, or whenever you require any recommendations based on a certain budget of yours.
